Oculus Sonar

The Oculus M-Series sets the benchmark for compact multibeam imaging sonars. Offering unmatched image quality, dual-frequency options, and depth ratings up to 500m, it’s ideal for ROVs and underwater platforms requiring precision and versatility.

Description

The Oculus M-Series from Blueprint Subsea delivers high-performance multibeam imaging sonar in a compact, rugged design. Designed for real-time underwater imaging, it supports frequencies from 375kHz to 3.0MHz, enabling clear, detailed visuals at both short and long ranges – from 0.1m to 200m.

Featuring wide 130° horizontal and 20° vertical fields of view, angular resolution as fine as 0.25°, and ultra-fast update rates up to 40Hz, the M-Series provides exceptional situational awareness in a wide range of underwater environments.

Compatible with small inspection-class ROVs to larger work-class platforms, the sonar supports depth ratings up to 500m, while integrated pressure and temperature sensors ensure precise sound velocity calibration. With intuitive software and simple Ethernet integration, the Oculus M-Series is plug-and-play ready for any mission.
