Description

The Multigauge 6000 UT Drone Thickness Gauge is specifically designed to be mounted on drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Measurements are transmitted wirelessly in real time up to 500 meters to a PC or laptop. The lightweight gauge is supplied with a plastic probe to reduce weight.

This is the first commercially available dedicated thickness gauge for drone mounting, developed over many years with numerous successful installations. It wirelessly transmits accurate measurements, excluding coatings, to dedicated Communicator software that allows customizable data storage in grid or string formats. The gauge supports an optional probe holder and gel dispenser, controlled wirelessly via the software to apply gel accurately.

Using Multiple Echo technology, it ignores coatings up to 6 mm thick, measuring only the metal substrate. All probes feature Intelligent Probe Recognition (IPR) for automatic adjustment of settings and transmission of recognition data. The Automatic Measurement Verification System (AMVS) ensures only true measurements are displayed, even on heavily corroded metals.
