The Multigauge 4100 and 4400 Underwater Thickness Gauges are simple, robust ultrasonic thickness gauges engineered for mounting on all types of work class ROVs. The Multigauge 4100 has a depth rating of 1000m (3280’), and the Titanium Multigauge 4400 has an impressive depth rating of 4000m (13,123’).

Both gauges are built to survive the extremely harsh offshore and underwater environments worldwide. Using Multiple Echo technology, they can measure metal thickness without removing coatings up to 6mm thick. The user-selectable RS422 / RS232 output enables simple connection to most ROV systems. Both gauges are fully compatible with Tritex NDT’s dedicated Communicator software.

Equipped with Intelligent Probe Recognition (IPR), these gauges automatically adjust settings for optimal performance. The Automatic Measurement Verification System (AMVS) ensures only true measurements are displayed, even on heavily corroded metals. Both gauges come as complete kits, including a dedicated probe holder to ensure correct probe presentation on flat and curved surfaces.
